Located in Bangalow within Byron Shire, The Meadows is a 43 lot residential subdivision developed to support the growing local community while complementing the character of the surrounding area.
J&M Bashforth & Sons was engaged as the civil contractor to deliver the complete civil infrastructure package across stages 1 and 2 of the development. The project involved preparing and servicing the site for future residential construction, including major earthworks, drainage, roadworks and landscaping.
Works also included installing a playground and upgrading surrounding roads and infrastructure to support long-term community use.
Delivering a large-scale residential subdivision in an established area required careful coordination of drainage, road upgrades and surrounding infrastructure works while maintaining safe site access throughout construction.
The installation of a bioretention basin and landscaping elements also required close attention to environmental outcomes and long-term stormwater management performance.
