Located in Goonellabah, north of the Bruxner Highway in Lismore Shire, Northridge is a premium residential land subdivision developed by a local Northern Rivers developer.
J&M Bashforth & Sons was engaged as a civil contractor to deliver the full scope of civil works across the 80-lot estate. The team was responsible for preparing the land to ensure all lots were fully serviced and ready for construction. Works also included bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage, a stormwater basin, roadworks and concrete footpaths and driveways.
The most significant challenge on this project was the discovery and removal of over 5,000 tonnes of shelf rock from a section of the site. This required extensive rock hammering before earthworks could progress, demanding both the right equipment and an experienced team to keep the project on track.
